    PSLWelder does nice job

I got a worldcat to replace the Luhrs after we got the place in the keys, but it did not have enough rod holders. I called Mike from Mainland Welding and he seemed like a nice enough guy. The local guys I called could not get to it, but Mike was available. I took the boat up to him on Monday, and today he finished the new rod holders.

With the livewell and the seat back I was not sure how it would turn out, but it turned out great.
He put the rod holders with some cup holders over the live well behind the seat.

    Thanks Mike.

You going to keep sinkers and jigs in those cup holders, or are you going to let me test them out "proper"?

Looks good -- you're really getting that boat dialed into your specific uses.

Sinkers and hooks in them, but I will reserve one for you. They are the large size to hold a koozie. Maybe I should hook up a refrigeration unit to keep it cold. Second thought, that would not be needed, and you don't let them sit too long!

Yep, I have went thru the whole boat, fixing all the stuff. New hatch hydraulics, so they don't drop on me. New led lights and led strips to light up the livewell. Cannot wait until the renters are out of our place and we can get back down.

Actually that is a chicken and egg problem, but I can assure you in my case, more rods was not the issue. I have actually been getting rid of some of them, but I have a bunch.
