    Howard Frankland Bridge

I was doing some inspection work on the Tampa side of the bridge approach on Monday and spotted a hundred sheepsheads and a dozen snook. They were all on the south side of the bridge causeway and from the end to 100-150 yards east of the end, all along the rocks. None were large, sheepsheads up to 2 lbs and the biggest snook maybe 24 inches, most 18 inches.

Thanks for the report! That's way too far for me to run but it's nice to see the sheeps starting to show up around the bridges. Won't be long now!

Can't fish from shore there, but I can look. There were schools of 20-30 lb black drum there last summer on the north side of the west-bound bridge approach.
