Fish for a few hours before the Jags game and got a nice slot surf red. Hit the Crab Knuckle on a fish finder rig. Very cold this morning but warmed up nicely later on. Seas were the same as yesterday, 3 ft, winds were from the North, Maybe NW. Water appeared to be getting cleaner, so in a few days it should be nice. Just a few of us out there today, also got some whiting but the red was the big fish of the day.

Very nice...
We were fishing with you this morning - we were a group of 4 right at the walk over. My dad got two slot reds - one was 26.5 and one was 20. We also got 15 whiting - 5 real nice ones and 10 that were just average fish. It was cold but beautiful and the sea really flattened out around 10AM. Some cleaner water would be great.

If a "Blur" passes you on the open water with fishing rods and "highway to Hell" playing.....its just me....
I'm heading to Gate in the morning... Probably going to fish from about 8-2, gotta catch a flight at 7pm.
Bringing frozen mullet, shrimp and fiddlers.... Obviously was planning on heading out in the boat with that choice of bait but going to hit the beach instead and would rather have had some salted clams and crab knuckles but I'm sure I'll do fine without them...

The fish that I caught the past 2 days were either over the 3rd bar or in the first trough. I had 6 rods out today since I had my boys, and those are the two areas that produced best for us. 6oz pyramids held today, and I was sure that the 5oz would hold also, but my heaver really likes those 6's.
