Mixed bag southshore 10/10- Slam lmr-southshore 10/02-Trout Tiera Verde 10/01

Southshore area- me chris and ben -Sight fished some reds for a dbl hook up on the jigs, was overun by flounder on the jigs in a sandy pothole-hanna and i hooked upwards of 10-12 on under 20 cast, some nice ones mixed in. no big trout today but plenty of keeper size. reds and samll snook bit better in the aftternoon on the gold spoon. also ran into a school of pompano in a deep hole-ben got three in a row, they werer nice fish pic does no justice

capt hanna talked me into trying ballast point and we got into a lot of jacks and some reds and a flounder. it was pufferfish city also-20 softbaits down...lol. not too bad for my first time there. then i took himn back to the southshore spot to finish up the slam with some snook, reds and more trout. spoon was the key there, jig at ballast point

Man those are some good quality fish. Nice reds, trout, snook, pomps and huge flounder. Nice work!

Maybe the pictures make them look bigger than they are, but those trout from tierra verde look pretty big to me.

they were 19"-22" , i dont consider them big until they are over 24". there are a lot of upper slot trout out there...a lot.. if your on the little ones move. the big ones all hang alone or in schools of like sized fish. the monsters (27" and up)are almost always alone. look me up on facebook to get info on booking a trip..i can teach you more in a day than most learn in yrs
also there were way more fish caught, i just dont get pics of mine anymore unless they are beastmode trout or nice reds or snook...capt hanna likes to be the photo star nowadays lol

Great day, Jon! Do ya think the water is too cold to wade without waders? I know you wear them but I try not to unless I have to.

Great job fellas. Wadefishing is pretty much all I do and it is great to see you guys have that kind of success. A lot of times I like to be out on the water solo, but I might have to wise up and join you on an expedition one of these days. Not being originally from this area I could probably learn a ton. Awesome pics!
