    No bucktails just my hooks and mullet.haha . yeah they are close when that water comes in.when the tides out I think you have to cast farther.i think most people actually cast past them.I'm talking 15 feet out just past the rocks.

    They haven't not done me right yet.White being color of choice.Good thing on buck tails is they can be purchased in good quantities for a good price.And the blues,mangroves,blowfish and what ever else with teeth don't tear them apart like plastics so you can fish the same jig all day,the main reason for usin them.

    You're most definitely correct as a high tide down there seems to be best.i haven't done to well at lower water levels there.
