Jeebus... He and others have been telling you for over 5 years what it has to be. You act like this is some freaking revelation.
No matter how peaceful, humanitarian and tolerant you are, no matter how well-meaning and honorable your goals - if you ask for a new government law, program or plan, ultimately that program will be paid for with property taken by force from others and the law will be enforced at the point of a gun.

If you can find a cached www.ronpaul2012.com, you'll have it. But, you've already had 5 years to read up on it, and no doubt you've seen the hundreds of Ron Paul supporter-generated posts on here. Do I really have to repeat what is already very widely known?

That the race could have been called 2 hours earlier in the evening for Obama?

You just displayed another problem, "conservatism."

That may be an understandable and operative term in the UK -- but not here.

It is and always has been waaaaaaaaaaaa to nebulous, despite what Rush and the many other "conservative" talk show people currently, and CARELESSLY, tout.

Here, I think, the correct definition for most such folks is Libertarian/Tea Party Movement. This is much more specific about philosophy, politico/economics, goals and objectives -- and may well indeed alienate some "conservatives," especially on the religious right who have always been the Achilles heel to intelligent educated (mostly) women.

    But, who cares!

The current "conservatives" are proven losers against the socialists.

Having said that, any "conservative," libertarian, tea party movement group, etc. is going to fight a tough uphill battle against the socialist, who will carelessly and happily loot the treasury to deliver "Ineptocracy":

A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Reduced to entitlement street talk understanding: "Vote for me and you will get all your free chit!"

Am now thinking about the definition of Lowest Common Denominator . . . ?

How low are we willing to go before making a major change?

Socialists love the words share and equal -- a mantra to gather in lazy, ignorant gimme gimme voters who will blindly support them. This has been a very successful plan.

Translated it means these weak-minded rubes hate capitalism because it openly shows some others are better than them -- can afford to eat steak while they must settle for hamburger.

Unfortunately, they are hooked, cannot escape from their mistakes, and end up within a failed society where most eat only beans.

The Tea Party is now more important than ever before.
That's some funny stuff there. Allen West (he probably lost and seems to be missing) and Michelle Bachmann (eked out a win, but there probably will be a recount) two of the most "popular" Tea Party candidates, both running in districts made more Republican dominated by their last redistricting changes, didn't have particularly good nights.?
