Wanted to see if the trout showed up yet. Have not been to my old stomping grounds in months and my budy Mike bought a new to him flats boat last week so I had an excuse. Hit the water at daylight, if thats what you want to call it, to flat calm, very foggy condictions. Went to some of my shallow spots first and they were there. We did not get numbers but most fish were over slot up to about 6 pounds. We did manage a couple of mid to low slot reds that were mixed in with the big trout for dinner.
