Foggy Day of Trout Fishing 11/4

Wanted to see if the trout showed up yet. Have not been to my old stomping grounds in months and my budy Mike bought a new to him flats boat last week so I had an excuse. Hit the water at daylight, if thats what you want to call it, to flat calm, very foggy condictions. Went to some of my shallow spots first and they were there. We did not get numbers but most fish were over slot up to about 6 pounds. We did manage a couple of mid to low slot reds that were mixed in with the big trout for dinner.

Hate it when pesky over-slot fish invade your spots

    Big trout.

You ain't kidding about the fog, we went offshore and coming back in the last 5 miles took an hour because the vis was 100 feet or less

The good of fishing in the fog, threw top water until 1:00 when we left. They kept hitting it so i kept throwing it. The bad, stayed wet all day and had to creep home. Always nice when your creeping along and hear people talking but never see them.
