Sunday in the Harbor. Girls' first fish and a slam

Took the girlfriend out Sunday. We slept in and got a late start, on the water at 11 to catch the last bit of the outgoing tide. This was her 2nd time on a boat in saltwater. She wanted to catch a "big fish" and I said hmm ok.... She got her wish. This was her first fish she's ever caught....

    This was her 2nd....

Then Followed it up with a nice pomp that came home for dinner...

Caught some small trout (no pics) and had a slam her first time out fishin! Not a bad way to start. The tide stopped and so did the bite. We headed over to Cabbage Key for some lunch then went for a cruise and a swim and called it a day. I think she's hooked!

Thanks guys for the kind words. We had a lot of fun for a lazy day on the water. Also caught some decent jacks and some 3 ft bonnetheads. The redfish and snook came on cut pinfish, freelined. The pompano and trout came on jumbo large shrimp freelined with the current. 10lb spin 25lb flouro leader and 2/0 owner circles.
