    Kayak Sesh Before Work

My self and Aj AKA EastCoastAngler decided to save a little gas money and take out the yaks. We headed out of Stuart and started catching some jacks that were eating the big schools of Glass minnos. We moved on to some submerged trees and caught a Snook that was about 20". We got to our Mangrove destination were we had some good bites on top water so decided to net some finerlyns. Tried for a while before I finally hooked a 35" Snook that nearly got me on the mangroves. I love getting a rush seeing those big boys jump! We went back out and started catching more jacks on a good spot of mine. I hooked another fish that started to feel less like a jack and up pops a 25" Red. He was caught on a DOA CAL Arkansas Glow. Then it was already time to go.

That's a nice day on the water. Great report and that grass mangrove area is beautiful and makes a great back drop.
