Went out today from 4:00PM to 7:30PM and WOW was there a lot of activity out there

We ended up getting a nice 15lb king on the vertical jig on the very first drop. A few minutes later the deep bait goes off and up comes another king - only this time it was closer to 35lbs!

We kept drifting a few more times and got a few nice football black-fins too. The birds were EVERYWHERE chasing these little guys from 100 feet all the way out to 300 feet.

All in all it was a great short trip and I got me a big enough king for the smoker!
