Another full grown snook Hwd Bch 9/18/12

Holy smokes......did it again. Got this gal on a mullet head on the bottom. Unfortunately it was still dark and I had no flash.....just my headlamp. Hence, the terribly, bad pic. The mark on the pvc sandspike to the rt. of my blood (gill rake got my finger) is 40" and the marks on the left are 28" and 32" respectively. Going to the west coast to check out a boat for my new guide service....if all is good, could be the new vessel. Feel like I'm in tune with the Fishing Gods or something!Click image for larger version.

    Wow! Another awesome catch, congratulations!

Question: What rig do you use to fish dead baits like mullet heads and lady fish on the beaches? Just a standard knocker rig?

Again, congrats. And good luck with the boat search!

    Take care,

    Julio
