    mid-november offshore outlook

    Got a question for you guys. I am usually on the hunting side of this forum but I have a chance to spend the weekend in Miami in mid November. Wanted to know from you all whats running around that time? Is it worth chartering a boat for the day? And that leads me to the other thing...anyone know any good reliable charters there? Looking for a full day charter, nice big comfortable boat for me and the girlfriend, and bring home a mess of fish. Depending on whats biting, do some bottom fishing and trolling for whatever is out there. any info or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys

    It's a great time to fish here and there are some great captains to choose from. You looking for a sportfish or a cc? If a cc, do you want a mate, or are you comfortable helping out?

    Possibly a bigger cc or sportfish. Might want to hang out inside for a bit and enjoy some lunch or a drink. I have no problems at all helping out. Not looking for a foofoo ride where someone reels my stuff in. Girlfriend is into fishing too so not a problem there either. Mahi still running in Novemeber?

    Here's a few to get you started:

    CCs:
    Dave Kostyo on Knot Nancy runs a 28' Whitewater and is my go to guide;
    Bouncer Smith on Bouncer's Dusky runs a 33' Dusky with a mate;
    Never fished with him, but The Beast Charters has a good rep around here, and fishes out of a big cat with a mate;
    Never fished with Lunkerdog, but he seems to have a cult-like following here

    Sportfishes:
    Thomas Flyer and Miss Britt are well respected

    what the hell happened to your avatar? like the old one better . . .
    But if you only have love for your own race
    Then you only leave space to discriminate
    And to discriminate only generates hate
    And when you hate then you're bound to get irate
