    Munyon island.

Hit up munyon today with red 118. We had some mixed plans but ended up putting in near the park with several dozen live shrimp and a lil bit of hope. We were floating the shrimp off of a popping cork while tossing doa cal shad. Only had a catfish on the shrimp tons of mullet. We moved to the southern lil cut and anchored up the yaks and were floating shrimp and tossing lures. Waves of miller were rushing in and getting crushed by jacks so i switched to top water and for slammed drag screaming and no end in sight. Put a lil to much pressure and lost the fish. Next school comes screaming in and top water hook up again. This time played the fish right and about 20 min later landed this nice jack uploadfromtaptalk1347233368969.jpg

All in all count was two lost jack one landed and a catfish. Wind was ripping and red and I as always seem to catch the wrong tide.

Nice jack. Try http://www.saltwatertides.com/pickpred.html. There's a tide chart in there for North Palm Beach (Munyon Island).

I'm up for either Saturday or Sunday. Looks like tide will be low early.
