8/22 - 8/23 Palm Beach Fishing Report
Been out the last couple of days before I go off to college again. The are some big hoos out there right now. On Tuesday, slow trollin runners, a hoo hit the deep bait and proceeded to dump half the spool off a 50W. I tightened the drag a little bit and the hook broke and the stinger straightened out. Weve lost 3 60+pound hoos in the last week.
We then bottomfished and caught a bunch of muttons anywhere from 3-11pounds on live sardines off of juno.
Wednesday we changed up the plan and hit a couple secret spots where we picked up a couple nice 5-10 pound tripletails and many decent lane snappas.
And finally this morning we found an epic snapper bite in an unlikely area in the intracoastal around peanut island. Filled the cooler with mangroves anywhere from 12-22inches. They ate live pins and threadies.
Pics to come later

nice report.
I caught some nice muttons and yeller tail from the island as well, although it was a bit seasonal.
