I've been lucky enough to spend two weekends in Key West over the last month and even luckier to spend them on the bow of Capt. Mike Bartlett's Beavertail skiff.
Mike is the kind of guide who will pull up to a flat and say "We should start seeing some bones here in about 15 minutes," and 20 minutes later we'll be landing our first fish.
He's also the best permit guide I know and makes hooking these fish almost easy.
