Hey guys headed out yesterday out of the Venice jetties, it was very calm out but could of been better. After 1 minute of looking around a huge group of birds were diving and Makrel were flying! We were chasing these schools all day using spoons,top water, gotcha plugs. The best lure was the silver diamond spoon! We got about 30 maks total in less then 2 hrs. We also saw a 30+ lb king jump vertically out of the water!
I was out there too... Caught some BIG sharks in the mack schools!

Yesterday after the regatta. We went to the near shore reefs, got snapper and a couple grouper. Like I said, there were kings darting around in our chum slick the whole time.
