Mutton Snapper Fishing After Work - Haulover - August 07, 2012

I tried to finish what I had to do today as quickly as possible so that we could try and get a few fish for dinner before the sun set.

We were out of the inlet in 115ft with lines in the water by 6:30PM.

We caught a bunch of miscellaneous fish on the bottom (scorpion fish), almaco jacks, etc. before getting a visit from this guy:

We kept at it and we were able to get our 2 nice muttons for dinner.

Tight lines out there and go fishing!

I use only freshly caught dead ballyhoo and make plugs out of them. I almost always ANCHOR and fish WRECKS or structure in deeper water.
