Cool Last Chance For A Bite July 2012

Well rumor has it that a cold water up dwelling and the full moon
almost on us should have the rays up and the cobia with them?
So Linda and I headed over to the other side to see if we could find em?
We Caught up with my brother John at his boat in Port Canaveral and off we went!
No Rays as the water was to dirty for the task of sight fishing so we slow
trolled some pogies looking for a bite. The bite was slow but we did manage a
few Kings in a couple hours and finished the morning with an 8 foot plus T-head
released un harmed to fight again!

Here are a few picture form today`s trip
After filling the well with bait and boxing the rest

We picked up our escort with a Nuke Sub in tow and headed off

Linda with a nice morning King

    Box shot

And our Short Trip ending T

Headed home with the dock Guard watching the boat

Those are some sweet kingfish. It's hard to believe the water temp can swing that much over there.

those upwellings usually do get the cobia going. I have had some good reports from a few friends the last 2 weeks out of the port.

Nice kings & report. Wish I had a guard-a-tee for my boat.
