Went out this morning abut 25 miles sw of the Sanibel lighthouse.
Trolled up 4 and caught 4 jigging. Seas were snarky hard 2-3 foot chop.
Geoff caught this cuda on a bomber. just shy of 5 feet long
Biggest red was just under 28 inches
Not a bad day.![]()

Nuke, are those all reds or is that one on the end a gag? What did you do with the cuda? Your buddy is more of a man than me- I'd be scared to put my hands anywhere near that thing's mouth!
Well now that i am grounded for a while..I will just have to enjoy the reports>>Keep them coming..When you were trolling what were you pulling??

Nuclearfishn did those numbers i gave you to try produce any action???
i stayed North of those numbers. I might try them latter on.
I was pulling Bomber CD-30's in the 80 - 65 foot ranges. I stayed a little south of the 240 ledge. right now there is a strong current coming from the north and heading south. This is kind of rare, I think the loop current must be close and influencing the near coastal currents . That might explain all the big barracuda we saw. Now there are tons of Bonita and glass minnows every where.
The near shore reds will be close for the next 6 months now. Just got to find the gags!
Nicely done.
NICE.
