Just another example of how law enforcement agencies in this country are rapidly changing. Militarization of police is a very bad sign for this country. Protect and serve has become control and intimidate.
Thanks guys. Ton_e_montana, i do still have to use my anchor pretty often. I use a slip ring anchor with about 8 feet of chain. Normally fish inside the rocks. Have done decent on the outside as well. Been a while though.
You want a good 200' of anchor line out there. Current rips on the down going. Getting an anchor to hold can be challenging with a shorter line.

Lemon, i'm glad the dropper rig proved to be useful. Its my go to rig and i rarely use anything else when i fish the rock bottoms of the jetties.
