    Mayport Princess versus Sea Love

It seems the Mayport Princess has a better reputation than Sea Love, but I wonder if it is really that much better. Can anyone comment?

I went on both and I like MP much better. Last year I've booked to go on the Sea Love but when we showed up they had a very old, run down, boat pulled up. They said that they didn't have enough people and had to take the smaller boat...... It wasn't really worth the money but the staff was friendly.

I'd go with MP for sure.....
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

    1. George hasn't gotten to be the best by accident - born and raised in Jax with more than 40 years chartering in the local waters
    2. Mayport Princess is a newer, faster boat
    3. George has probably forgot more things about fishing than most of will ever learn in a lifetime or two
    4. great entertainer and always has one of the best crews to help out when you need a hand
    5. great advocate for fisherman's rights
    6. past president of the JOSFC

Do I still need to list more?

Edit: Yes I have fished on both boats...

Years ago I was offshore coming in from BR and broke down about 20 miles out. I was calling sea tow on the radio but could not get an answer. I thought I had seen MP out far earlier in the day so I tried to raise him on the radio to see if he could reach ST. Instead, he asked for my coordinates. He was a couple of miles away from me. He came to my boat and towed me all the way into his dock. All this for free and with a full boat of customers. That in itself says alot about George and would give me reasons to choose MP over any other party boat (not that it had anything to do with fishing, but you get the jist)

p.s. Later I sent him some cash and a thank you letter
