    Pompano-SNOOK-6/17/12-GO!

    Well the beach fishing is phenomenal right now. Decided not to take the kayaks out because of the strong NE wind and current. Tarpon and Snook are everywhere on the beaches right now. No matter where you go. We jumped off several tarpon before we landed this nice snook. Using Live Pilchard with a 3oz pyramid weight to hold the bait in place. After a few pics the snook was released unharmed.     WOW! That is a serious cow. looking at the color you must be close to the inlet. Those fish are dark

    Nice snook. They will be on the beach into Sept. It is worth a cast or two, even on a calm day before paddling offshore.

    Summer Snookin! They will be everywhere like you said, I swear Snook know the dates of the season because they are all over and will eat anything until Sept 1...

    Nice fish! Just got back from Jupiter Inlet. 41in was my biggest this time.Love it down south.The water is awesome!
