North IRL.
Hey friends, does anyone have any recent reports for the North IRL? Anywhere from the 406 causeway up to the top?
I never fished up there but I hear it's ridiculous!
Is there many boats ramps up there? And basically just fish the flats? I heard the reds are pretty big up there.

Plenty of ramps to choose from (Parrish Park, Haulover, Scottsmoor, etc). There's a bunch of water up here though so don't expect to put in and immediately be on fish. Gonna have to put a little time in.

I've been up in the north river a whole lot and the bite is starting to slow down for me compared to before but they are still biting. My biggest word of advice is fish the east side of the river.

Now I heard there are certain spots on the east side (where the space center is) you can't fish. It's restricted?

http://forums.floridasportsman.com/s...t-N-IRL-6-3-12 The reds were caught near Dummits Cove and the trout were caught in a very obious grassy sand are in 3-4 ft of water that stretches for quite a distance a lil west of there near crab pots. Hope this helps.

Put in on Jones Road off Wiley Ave. on North end of Mims Turn left at Oxygen Plant and then next right Jones Rd. to the launch on the River. Trout and Reds hitting top water & plastics on west side and around spoils bordering waterway to Haulover.

Okay cool! Thanks for all that info.
I may just drive to haul over and out the boat in there.
