Hey guys went out on the boat with my grandparents and my brother. We started off around 12 got some shrimp it was rely stormy so we headed to the oyster bar for some lunch. After that it was pretty clear and we fished a little cove in phillipie creek all we got there was a little mangrove snapper, I decided to run over to the radio tower flats and that was a great decision. Even know there was a nice 10-15mph wind coming from the east we decided to drift these flats. I threw a shrimp on a DOA popping cork and first cast boom my bobber sunk down and fish was on, after a little fight i discovered it was a nice trout(measured in at 19 inches) i was so excited. Then after a few more cast i decided to switch over to a freeline with shrimp. BAM! another big trout was on got this one on the boat and it was a little under 20 inch trout my personal best. Today was rely good and had a great time just remember to be patient.
I want to give a huge thanks to ZOOKIE for helping me out a little bit, I cant be happier.
