I thought for sure I read that there was a prize in the offshore division if you ran out in a 22 pathfinder.

I think so too! Ran our '81 235 out and south to Pecks Lake but no chance of wetting a line. Only me, my wife and 8 year old Got a well deserved tsunami shower for going out.

All in all, our tournament fees went to a beautiful little girl that deserves it.

Though a Yeti cooler for a second or third ghost finish would have been nice!

Congrats to everyone! My family had a great time at the event!

Cobslayer, we definitely didn't make a u-turn. Our trip felt like a day long trip to Gilligan's Island. Give you props for running out for 3 hours. We decided to run south thinking we could get past the rollers and just endure the tossing and turning to grab something. Only "offshore" for about an hour and a half but as my son said "most of it was in the air". We were either going up a wave or back down the other side Just glad to get back and enjoy a good bbq, have a few beers and plan our next trip

Agree with everyone else. We were at the mouth of inlet at 630 and decided to run out. It was nasty throughout the 4hrs we were out. Trolled from 60 - 320ft in my mako 224. Was very happy to be back on dry land.

Of course you were. That "monster" 13# dolphin was the biggest fish. Congrats

I decide to not get the boat wet and just donate the cash.
Didn't get a consolation prize but I did find 20 dollars on the way home on us-1.
Had a great time and great music too.

Great time. Wish I had met more people to put faces with names, but I was overloaded after a few minutes.

Great event for a great cause. Great job SE.

Had a blast and we won a prize for a non existant Cobia...Thanks again.

We did head out aboard my cousins 24 Everglades, we got soaked two of us got sick and we had a nice Bull on for a few minutes but it spit the hook. We pushed out to 140 where we had the dolphin hit just as we entered a rain shower.

Excellent time and even better cause. What a pretty little lady hoping the best turnout possible for her.
