Mosquito Lagoon - May 12th
It was a very windy day but I managed to sight cast, land and release this very healthy 33" Gator Trout. This is my personal best!

that is a nice fish man. what time of day did you catch it at? I've been fishing banana river and my gator trout bite is over buy 9 am. Then it's just slots and reds.
I caught the fish in the afternoon, about 3:30 pm. It fought like a red, not like the typical trout catch.
