Headed offshore from Marco with JoeSnook on Saturday looking for a limit of Red Groupers and we weren't disappointed. Great weather, calm(ish) seas, and a hot bite. Put four keepers in the box via rod and reel, threw back a bunch of shorts, then strapped on the tanks and speared up the rest of our limit (plus some big grovers).

No spearfishing off Collier County
Only in state waters. Once 9 nauticle miles from land you can spear. And judging by the size of those grouper they were out a ways. Nice fish guys.Originally Posted by tfranko29
Real Nice! Guess you dont ever have to about grouper hitting their hole when you hook them, just jump in after them.
