my dad got a new to him boat it is a 21 foot proline center console and i was thinking about getting him a present for the boat just not sure what to get him. he is gonna be using it to grouper fish i think and some other off shore fishing. what do you guys think? i was thinking about building a gaff or some thing like that. any ideas?

You can never have too many coolers.
Marine radio, GPS/sonar/plotter, a good gaff, goes on and on.
i will prolly build him a gaff that way he can use it on both boats.
i may use one of my big j hooks i use for shark fishing for a temp gaff or a decoration and i get to try out printing decals and applying them. never did that before.
Spend some time with him on the boat and see what you guys need or what would be nice to have. It never ends.
he hasnt got the new boat running yet. he got a 21 foot proline for like 3400 bucks. he has to fix the trailer and then have some one go over the motor. so its gonna be a while till that boat is done.
