Super inshore day today. Caught 1 snook, 2 upper slot (or over) redfish (1 on fly), 3 20"+ trout(1 on fly), and 3 flounder. Released all but 1 flounder - I had to bring something home for dinner. One of the trout was so big, I thought it was another snook. Fishing by myself so did not get pix

Yesterday, 5/4, was nuts out at Anclote. My buddy and I never caught so many keeper sized trout in one day. Caught keepers one after the other with soft plastics then we decide to throw the cast net. Caught a bunch of 3" to 4" pilchards. Used them at the highest point of the tide near the mangroves at the north tip of the island and caught a trout so big that when it hit I thought for sure it had to be a snook. Something was up with the trout yesterday cuz they sure as hell had their feedbags on and made for a great day out on the water.
