new smyrna beach
is one section of the beach better than others? any suggestions for good spots to try and baits to use. i have been using frozen shrimp the couple of times i've been out. i'm trying to have a little fun fishing while my boys are playing in the sand. any info is greatly appreciated

Head to Canaveral seashore 1st parking lot. Get youself clams live not frozen and fresh dead shrimp. Eagle Claw 2/0 circle hooks. You should get Whiting or Pompano. try a Gator spoon for Bluefish. Good luck and tight lines.

If you are in Smyrna head down to where they cant drive on the beach, past 27th street. Use some sand fleas if you can catch them.

A couple of weeks ago i caught a lot of whiting and jacks at Ormond beach.

There are lots of small sharks near the inlet, and blurs as stated above.

Is there access and parking for night time fishing looking at going out there this Saturday with the super-moon coming up figured it might be a good with high tide being around 9pm as well with calm surf at least that the is forecast. Any help would great or if anyone would not mind show me.
