Well the family is all back to work and home noiw it's time to get back into my routine....well the same game but the names have changed to protect.....! Don and i hit the water at a leasurely 9:00 and headed out onto the flats looking forsome trout for dinner. We took a few in tight on mirrodines but decided to look around for some other areas. We did find some trout around the outer St. martins Keys and once we had enough for 3 households dinner we moved inside looking for reds. We hit the mangroves with gulps and the reds were there and hungry we battled a few released some and kept 2 for a friend then called it a day. the water temp started at 75 and ended at 78. Most of the incomming tide brought in crystal clear water except on the inside where the reds were. The surface grass made tossing plugs a bit difficult in some areas but not imposible.
