Paul contacted me a while back and asked if i could take his wife, another couple and him out on the flats for some trout on the 15th. We hit the water at 7:30 despite the forecast 20mph winds and drifted over some 4' flats tossing mirrodines and bombers. The trout were there and so were the ladyfish. We all had a blast hooking (not always landing) a ladyfish on every cast with the occasional midslot trout mixed in. Everyone caught trout ladyfish and a couple bluefish before calling it a day at 3. Despite the fast drift it was a great day on the bay with lots of fish and fun.
