Tried to follow up on the Helen S catching all the cobes off of Hillsboro so we headed out in the afternoon with some sardines and jigs. Nailed a big Bonita off one of the wrecks in 240' and cut him up to entice some Bulls to swing by for a snack. No snacks and no cobes. After 5 drifts we decided to head off shore and look for weeds. Found some in 600' but nobody was home. Like my wife says its not the fish in the box but the time spent on the water that counts. I agree but it's still nice to catch your target species once in a while.
