Miami Dolphin Report 04/11/12

Headed out yesterday morning. The plan was to hit the reef and catch some tails then head offshore for dolphins. Got to the reef and started chumming. We caught a few nice size tails, all around 20 inches but the bite was kinda slow so after about an hour we decided to head offshore. Got offshore and trolled some weeds in 250 but didnt get anything so after 30 minutes we decided to head further out. In 600 we found some more weeds and only a couple minutes into the troll we had our first fish on. Trolled a little longer and found the log I hear everyone else talking about just floating in the weedline and as soon as we got to it we had two more dolphin on. We worked the area for about an hour till the bite turned off and we decided to call it a day. Ended the day with 13 dolphins and 8 yellowtails. Beautiful day to be on the water.
