The snook are still chewin', boys!
Got to hit the South Jetty a few times with the old man this week, going again (rain or shine) this weekend, too!
First hour of outgoing has been best for us...several in slot, couple over and only one short.
All on various color flair hawks. The bobmer long A produced a few jack in the morning, and a 60+ lb jewfish came up right at the wall to take a look at it!
Tried a topwater skitterwalk a few times, nothing produced on it.
The chartreusse/red tail is what has been the solid producer...Low and slow is the only way to go!
My dad also saw a 130lb class Tarpon caught on a Shimano 4000 series reel...quite a fight there.
