Offshore Yak Video
Got offshore for a quick session earlier this month - bait was thick and it didn't take long for the sharks to come along. I was a few minutes into this one when a big school of jacks came daisy chaining around the yak. Condensed the BS and put some tunes to it - enjoy!

I went where I saw birds/bait, anywhere from right by shore to around a mile out. I was using a live pogie on 60# fluorocarbon. I wasn't targeting sharks, I was hoping the fish gods would bless me with a tarpon or cobia, but that didn't happen. I had him foul hooked in the side, otherwise I would have lost him (like several others that day). I went again today and couldn't keep a bait on because of all the sharks - at one point there were 4 or 5 beneath the yak. If anyone can identify the type of shark it is, I'd appreciate it cuz I hooked into several more of the same today. It hidn't have 2 dorsals like a lemon, and it didn't have black tips on the fins like a black tip.
