LOL, trust me... I forgot the VHF so we didn't go offshore. I planned to... but we didn't. Just so happend to be looking east when I snapped the pic.

We looked pretty darn hard from the chum hole to the red tops. Saw plenty of pods, a few rays, and several kingfish. Only saw 2 cobia, and caught 1x30 pounder.

Saw a big king blasting a bait pod outside the inlet. Saw him sky 2 times, pretty cool and maybe a good sign for all the King fisherman.

Great fish, not to derail, but where did you see the kings, was it St John's inlet or down south?
