I got a group of Firefighters that want to take a break and get a few scallops this year. I was wondering if yall could help me? What area is the best for scallops and does anyone know of any houses that can be rented for a week during scallop season. Thanks for the help

If you're interested in the Steinhatchee area, you can contact Sea Hag marina. They'd got some large spaces for rent including a house or two I believe.

St Joe Bay will likely be best but more will be known around June. As already suggested, Steinhachee is usually good as well.

Go to vrbo.com and drill down to Cape San Blas/Indian Pass. You'll find a few still available.

I prefer late season scalloping in the Bay when they are on the western side- they're bigger and not as big of a crowd. But, it's a crazy scene on July 1st along the eastern side- could be fun.

I have a condo at cape san blas which is on st joe bay. Great scalloping Dunes club unit 1b go to paradise coast realty to view.

we always get plenty of scallops in SJB..
