Finally got a day with a good weather window after all that rain we had to make another long run in the hunt for the Red Snapper and Grouper!! Leaving well before dawn makes for long days but, usually result in good numbers of really anything. We loaded up with bait first thing after a 100 mile run and then we were off to some grouper bottom where the bite was good first thing and then slowed... We couldn't stay away from the AJ's with live bait so we had to rely on the old reliable jigs!! We made a move and found the ARS bite on fire and before we knew it we had our limit. Snapper bite was the highlight which is good since the season is almost already over, what a joke it opens and then it closes!!! And of course AJ's are closed and they were even getting us over just bottom they were everywhere!!
