It's ironic how many blacks blame the white man for keeping them down, to which the white guy answers everyone in this country has the same opportunity. But now the black guy in office is somehow keeping the white man down. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad...

When you downsize, like most have during this recession, then improvement comes easier. Jeez, open your mind a little.
No one said anything about downsizing, if you want to back peddle go right ahead. Worry about your own mind, plenty to be done there.

I'M SHOCKED. Why would a woman get rid of a prize like you? Or was your spouse a guy?

    Better off,,,financially,,,, YES because

-ignorant policies promoting ethanol production from corn have driven the price through the roof.
-stupid economic policies have created fear and doubt concerning the stability of the dollar driving up gold prices
-the housing crash and dumb policies promoting home ownership for those who have no economic ability or aptitude to own have driven down land prices and for those in position to invest the pickings are easy
-over regulation has driven many out of the beef production business resulting in supply issues and higher prices

NONE of the above are good for the nation. So once again am I better off???? yes is that a good thing overall?? probably not.

I learned back in the 1970's not to participate in recessions.
Live with in your means and stay debt free.
But I do see all the closed businesses and I do buy groceries and fuel.
I cherish my Liberty. I have seen the ugliness of socialism (East Germany and even most of Western Europe) and the last thing I want is to see it here.
