Crew of 4 left the dock at 8am on the twin vee,,First spot at 9:33 dropped marker and started to drift Squid cut bait and jigs..Steady bite all reds, two keepers just over 20,must of had 15 between 16 to 19 1/2 ..next stop we anchored chummed a lot of shorts 2 more keepers just over 20..then ran to what i call the monster hole anchored just on the edge of the drop. Drop down pin fish slammed by a Goliaths had 5 more Goliath's on, our gear was not up to the task all leaders were abraded and had hooks pulled or broken..there was surface action all around us but crew had grouper on there mind and did not want to troll. one more stop for last keeper,biggest one 21 1/2 again a lot of shorts..Stopped on the way in to drift a couple crab trap lines to more shorts..
should have taken pictures when fish looked better..
