Jupiter Florida pier/surf/jetty fishing 3-30 thru 4 - 6
Hey guys, I'm used to fishing piers in NC for spanish mackerel and bluefish and fishing the surf and docks for reds, but now I'm heading down from NC to try to find some good fishing around the Jupiter/Juno area. I plan on hitting Juno pier and the jetty/inlet in Jupiter, but am not sure what kind of fishing I can expect or what my best tactics might be. Any idea what kind of fish might be around? Anyone have any tried and tested lures/rigs they use for that area? Areas/beaches close by that I should check out? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

It's been a slow fall for Juno pier but there has been a school of blues hanging around and mackerel has been here and
There. The pompano are around in morning and afternoons before sunset. Permit, kings, and cobia can be caught also but
Not guaranteed.

http://docsgoofyjigs.com/default.aspx these are really good for pompano
and gotcha lures work good for macks also white crappie jigs are really good for macks
In a month or so the bait should be really bunched up on the pier and you can catch a lot of big snook snook.
