me and some of the locals (martin local locals) hit the river last night for some sunset fun. started off in various areas back in the st lucie river. fishing mostly joes jigs and doa shrimp we caught a ton of snook with lots of double and triple hook-ups mixed in. though most were little. then as the sun set we headed to some nice spots and picked up a ton of larger snook and a good bit of trout mixed in for a good combination of fish. a very good night with lots of fish for everyone, not to mention we lost some real pigs into some structure. i included some of the pics that came out, and we handed out the dink award and big fish award for the night, but there was tough competioion on both size brackets. did't bring the good camera only a cell phone so most of the pics were really bad, but enjoy and get out there and catch some snook. there is a great bite right now..
