    A couple of mine

I lost a lot of my photos but here are a few of mine.

This one is a Lamiglas Excel blank wrapped in Cobra snake skin

My shift lost Arnulfo Crispin in the line of duty December of 2011. I made this rod as a tribute to him.

Thanks for the compliment. He was an awesome kid and will be surely missed. We're actually auctioning off the rod and reel on Mar. 24th in Mulberry to help send his family to see his name placed on to the National Law Enforcement Memorial wall.

How did you do the cobra snake skin wrap? I love it. All the rods look great. Hope your auction went well.

Snake skin inlays are pretty simple. Wrap a small piece of tape where the ends will be, to get the length you'll need, cut it. Apply a liberal amount of CP to the back of the skin so it adheres to the blank and lay it on. Several coats of CP on the top of the skin & apply finish. EZPZ and looks great.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I haven't checked over here lately for new posts. Snooker the snake skin is really easy, like reel cowboy said. I should have a few more here soon. As far as the auction, it went great. We earned enough to cover the families travel expenses and some spending money for them to sight see. The community support has been overwhelming.
