Wanted to get the boat in the water and my girlfriend wanted to get some sun so we decided to check out Fort Desoto area. Wasn't a hard core fishing trip more just a day on the water. The wind wasnt bad at all until later in the day, by that point we weren't burnt and exhausted so headed back in any way. Picked up some live shrimp for my girlfriend to use. She started us off with a nice trout. Ended up with a handful of trout and a handful of lady fish. Nothing too exciting. Did see a bonnet head cruising around next to us in a foot of water which was fun to watch. Nice day on the water even with no crazy fish stories. Thanks for reading.
