Wink Full Inshore Report and Pictures 3.5-3.9

Just returned from 8 days in stuart fla, unfortunately the wind blew 20-30knts every day we were there untill the day we departed (big suprise)

We fished 5 days, and caught a variery of species encluding but not limited to Snook, Sheepshead, Jack Cravale, Mangrove/Grey Snapper, Southern Kingfish, Spanish Mackeral, Gag Grouper, Fluke, Bluefish, Lady Fish, and Speckle Sea Trout to name a few.

We mainly focused on hard structure during the day light hours, and fished the protected flats at low light for Specs, the redfish and pompano were few and far between..and we never connected on either of those species,

We were disapointed we were not able to get out front and fish offshore but thats the way it goes, here are some shots of the trip.

Fishy with a couple of dinner sized sheapshead

Zman and Tommy with a beautiful 22" Spec

The bait of choice, tipped on 1/8 jig head or free floated in the current

The ocean forecast was 6-9' or greater. No kiddin...

Fishy with a undersized snook (zman being zman)

34" snook i caught plugging the first night in stuart

    Baby Gag Grouper

Tough break you didn't get to go offshore, but sounds like you caught plenty of good fish inshore. Good job.

Glad you hung tuff and got out and fished. If you can come back again....Early May is usually much more predictable weather wise and the fishing is great then too.

Seriously? You caught two sheepshead, a trout and a couple of undersized snook?
Go to grab a bamboo picture frame from some local craft store, put all these pictures in it (stacked up so you can change them periodically), go back to Jersey, throw it on the mantle and never come back to Florida. That would be great...
    Thanks...
P.S. They will never admit it on a public forum but I bet these guys kept every fish you see in these pictures...
