Key West Flats February

February brought us some unbelievable weather this year in the Keys. Plenty of warm days made for great days on the flats around Key West and the Marquesas. A few of the highlights include a three permit day, redfish on fly, tarpon at night and on the flats and plenty of barracudas, sharks and jacks.

I was able to spend a couple of evenings on the water with my wife where we enjoyed some beautiful Key West sunsets and we jumped a few tarpon.

Not for the kickoff, but I think my wife is up for the long term tourney. We don't get to fish too much, most of her catches will be on fly (if that matters), but she likes to compete and loves to fish.

Camera is a Nikon D60, but its all in eye of the photographer and how one sets up the shot!! In which I have no clue and take a ton photos and hope for a decent one!!! You know, spray and pray!
