    Very nice - those should get a tuna's attention once it's hooked! Was there a functional reason for reversing the stripper guides, or is this just a personal touch?

    Thank you so much! Those 2 big boys are going to be fished off mass for those super sized Bluefin and I cant wait to get the pics back from my client of the monsters he lands with them.
    Reversing the stripper guide is mandatory if your using the big wide reels or the line will hit the frame itself when the line is at that severe angle..I tested this and in reversing the guide the line never did not touch frame again..so I reverse them regardless now on the bigger game rods especially so if my client wants to use a wide reel someday he can without any issues
