    I've had bugs cooked probably every way possible even with eggs but the best two ways are

    1) Split down the middle, brush with garlic butter and blackened seasoning then grill until done

    Or probably the best way IMHO

    2) Pull meat out of tails and fillet the skin off of them (this is really easy to do) cut in 1 to 2 inch chunks, bread with your best breading and deep fry then toss them in a mixture of melted butter, garlic and hot sauce to your taste

    Man I love them this way. :full

    That reminds me I'm down to two tails left I need to go get a few more one more month of the season.

    I like to remove the shell, cut into bite size pieces, dredge in spiced egg wash, and bread with ground cracker crumbs and flour and deep fried @ 350* for 1 1/2 minutes:full
