    I had to compromise with my boy who was worried about my saftey, lol.... I wanted a platform 12' off the deck. We settled much lower. It will be completely detachable with flush mounted hardware so I can use it only while sightfishing. Im having a matching poling platform built too, my motor hits now on a 12" jackplate. I may go with the new detachable style on it too. I may tag the idea from the now featured 21' Lake-n-Bay, with similar removable hardware.
